SKY3000 is high-performance pump-suction portable gas detector with built-in powerful sampling pump for active gas extraction. This ETO customized version uses electrochemical sensor with independent range and resolution options. It features auto-power-on self-test, 180° auto-flip graphic display and comprehensive alarm functions to satisfy sterilization-site on-site testing.
Introduction to Ethylene Oxide (ETO)
Ethylene oxide (ETO) is highly toxic, irritant gas widely used for low-temperature sterilization of medical devices and pharmaceutical products. ETO inhalation harms the respiratory tract and nervous system; residual gas in sterilization workshops brings acute poisoning risk for operators. Built-in sampling pump can draw gas from confined sterilization chambers and workshop air to monitor ETO residual concentration and protect personnel safety.
